Quartz Clock Information
Some quartz movements can be replaced, but the item must be seen first so we can determine whether replacement is possible. Quartz movements are not repairable and contain plastic gears and parts.
All quartz movements, including watches, should have a new battery installed at least once a year to help prevent leakage and possible damage to the case and internal parts.

Parts & Additional Notes
Replacement chains may not be available on older clocks. Missing links can alter the running time of a clock.
If you are looking for parts to repair your own timepiece, we may refer you to a parts center. We do not sell antique clock parts because we save them for future use. You may also try finding needed parts through an online search.
Please see the Parts page for items we do offer for sale.
We do not offer appraisals.

Changes, Pickup & Communication
If you change your mind after approving repairs and work has already begun, you may still be charged for labor and parts.
Please let us know at least one week in advance before picking up your item so we can make sure it is assembled and ready. It may take several days to prepare an item for pickup.
Please remember to reference your account number when calling with questions or asking for an update.
Warranty Information
Most repairs come with a 1-year warranty, though some may be limited.
Some functions do not come with a warranty and will not be adjusted or repaired. This mainly applies to antique clocks unless otherwise specified, including alarm mechanisms, calendars, day/date/month functions, and moon dials.
No attempts will be made to adjust or repair those functions because replacement parts are no longer manufactured and are generally unavailable.
Additional Repair Limitations
We do not adjust or service alarm functions in antique clocks. Parts may be broken, missing, or unavailable, and no warranty applies to those alarms.
We do not ship repaired or unrepaired clocks or watches. Damage caused by shipping is not covered by any warranty due to unknown shipping and handling practices.
New movements require a 50% deposit before they will be ordered and before repairs begin.
We reserve the right to refuse service at any time.
Dial Paint, Hanging Hardware & Referrals
We are not responsible for flaking or missing paint on dials or cases due to age-related wear. While your clock will be handled with great care, additional paint loss can sometimes occur because oxidized metal dials naturally begin to flake over time.
We do not repair or touch up dials, but can refer you to a Dial Shop in Georgia upon request.
If you need hardware to hang your timepiece, please consult your local hardware store or handyman. We do not hang, mount, or remove clocks from the wall.
