Services We Offer:
- OIL – due every 2-3, mechanical clocks only
- CLEAN AND OIL – due every 5-10 years, mechanical clocks only
- RESTORATION (Wear of a mechanical, clock movement is normal and will happen eventually. The more maintenance you keep up with, the longer you will preserve the clock’s movement.) This also means that a replacement movement is not available (clock may be antique, the company is no longer in business or parts may be on backorder). – The clock movement is disassembled, bushings are installed around every pivot, pivots are polished (They become course, like sandpaper as they spin and wear away the brass, split plates.), movement is cleaned in an ultrasonic cleaner then in a rinse, movement is then dried, reassembled, lubricated and tested.
- REPLACEMENT, MECHANICAL MOVEMENT/MECHANISM – This applies to more modern movements only. A 50% deposit is required upfront on all new movements. Some may be on back order and require us to restore the movement. New movements that are chain driven will come with new, brass chains.
- CLOCK SPRINGS – Clock/Watch springs are made of metal. They do somethings break, ends come loose, and/or the gear that holds the springs/gear in place, click springs, can go bad. To help prevent wear of the winding arbors and other issues, do not use loose, fitting keys or cranks. If your timepiece is also due for maintenance will be not, just replace a broken spring/click spring.
- PART REPLACEMENT – Not all clock parts are available for purchase and must be custom made, depending on availability from our distributors.
- RE-PIVOTING/GEAR WORK – these items must be send to a specialist to be repaired.
- QUARTZ CONVERSIONS (Convert a mechanical/electric clock into battery operated) – Please bring your item in to be evaluated. We will let you know if this is possible.
- QUARTZ MOVEMENT, REPLACEMENTS – Please bring in your item to be evaluated so we may look it over and decide if we are able to repair it. There are thousands of different quartz movements that are manufactured, we do not have access to all of them and are limited by what our distributors supply. Please note, hands and other parts may need to be replaced/changed. Not all parts are interchangeable.
- All quartz movements (including watches) should have a new battery installed at least, once a year to prevent leakage and possible damage to the clock/watch case and/or parts.
- Replacement chains may not be available on older clocks. Links missing from chains can alter the running time of a clock.
If you are looking for parts to repair your own timepiece, we may refer you to a parts center. We do not sell parts on antique clocks as we save them for future use. You may try finding needed parts through an online search. Click on the “Parts” tab above for a list of items we do offer for sale.
We do not offer appraisals but can give a reference upon request.

Again, no attempts will be made to adjust or repair said items. NO exceptions as these parts are no longer manufactured and no replacements are available. Clock examples with calendar and/or moon dial functions: Tall Case & Fashion clocks.

You clock will be handled with utmost care, however, there is always a chance that more paint will fall off. Metal dials/pans become oxidized and the paint will begin to flake/fall off.
