Payment policies, billing terms, and important information for repairs and service calls.
Please review all payment terms carefully before approving repairs or scheduling services.
Accepted Payments
Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Cash, and Checks (with valid ID).
Returned Checks
A $75 fee applies for any check returned by the bank.
Payment Timing
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise stated.
Important Payment Policies
Please read carefully to avoid delays, fees, or misunderstandings.
Service Calls & Due Payments
In-home and office service call base fees are due at the time and date of the scheduled visit.
All services must be paid at the time they are performed unless otherwise specified.
Late Payments & Storage Fees
Payments not received within 10 days will incur 10% interest per month until the balance is paid in full.
Storage fees may also apply to items not picked up within the required timeframe.
Deposits & Upfront Payments
Deposits are required for:
- New movements (mechanical clocks only)
- Subcontract work
- Watch repairs
Third Party Billing
No third-party billing is offered.
Any third-party repairs must be paid in full before work begins. If a price range is given, the lower amount is required upfront.
Pickup & Payment Plans
We do not offer layaway.
Customers may make payments toward their repair at any time.
Once your item is ready and you are contacted, it must be picked up within 60 days or storage fees will apply.
Pricing & Policy Terms
- We do not offer discounts or coupons
- Prices may increase due to supplier costs
- You will be notified if pricing changes after approval
- All legal and collection fees are the customer’s responsibility
Legal Notice
The Clock Shop of Richmond reserves all rights under Virginia Code § 46.2-644.02 & § 46.2-644.03.
Any court or attorney fees associated with collection efforts will be the responsibility of the customer.
