Picking Up

Picking Up Your Clock or Watch

Important information for pick up, payments, transport, and setup.

Please review the details below to ensure a smooth and efficient pickup process.

Bring Claim Ticket

Please bring your claim ticket when picking up your item(s).

Pick Up Within 60 Days

Items must be picked up within 60 days to avoid storage fees.

Bring Packing Materials

Customers must bring their own blankets, boxes, and packing supplies.

Pick Up & Payment Information

Please review payment policies, pickup timelines, and preparation details before arriving.

Payment Requirements

Final invoices must be paid in full prior to pickup or at the time of pickup.

Invoices not paid within 10 days will incur a 10% monthly interest fee until paid in full.

Pickup Notification & Timing

You will receive a phone call when your item(s) are ready for pickup.

If you have multiple items in for repair, they may not be completed at the same time.

Each item must be picked up within 60 days of notification or a $35 per month storage fee will apply and items may be considered abandoned.

What to Bring

  • Your claim ticket
  • Packing materials (blankets, towels, boxes, etc.)

We do not supply packing materials.

Transport Preparation

Once repairs are complete, your clock will be prepared for transport. Pendulums, weights, and other components will be removed unless you request setup assistance.

Due to limited space, clocks may not be running when you arrive for pickup.

Grandfather Clock Setup & Warranty

Grandfather and floor standing clocks picked up by the customer include a 1-year in-shop warranty.

If you need help with setup and live within 30 miles, we offer in-home setup for:

  • $295 standard clocks
  • $440 tubular bell clocks

This includes a 1-year limited in-home warranty. All customers must agree to service call terms prior to scheduling.

Moving Grandfather Clocks

We do not transport or relocate clock cases.

For moving services, please contact Moving Made Easy at 804-658-0315 or your preferred moving company.

Moving companies will only transport your clock. They do not tune or repair clocks.

Additional Adjustment Notes

Clocks repaired without their case may require adjustments after installation, including hammers, hands, moon dials, or beat adjustments.

Additional charges may apply if the clock is brought back for these adjustments.

Transport Tips

Spring-driven mantel and wall clocks that chime or strike should be transported in a semi-upright position.

This helps protect internal components during transport.

Please allow a few minutes for us to process payment and prepare your item for transport.

If you would like instructions or guidance on operating your clock, please let us know.

Allow approximately 20–30 minutes if you would like a full walkthrough of your timepiece.

Clock Manuals

We do not have access to clock manuals. Some manuals may be available online through independent searches.
