The Clock Shop of Richmond offers select retail items, resale pieces, and limited grandfather clock consignment services.
Retail Sales / Resale
New items come with a manufacturer’s warranty.
One-half down is required on all special orders, and special orders are not refundable or exchangeable.
Please note that retail items are not advertised online or elsewhere.
Resale items do not always sell right away and may require service or repairs. Those services can take several months.
Consignment
Consignment is available for grandfather, tall case, and floor-standing clocks only. This is a limited service and depends on the style and make of the clock.
The Clock Shop of Richmond keeps 35% of the selling price.
Clocks sold through consignment include a 1-year warranty. Any needed repairs are included in the selling price and are the customer’s responsibility.
Consignment items must be approved before they are brought in. We will call you with a fair selling price and review pricing before the item is placed on the sales floor.
Consignment items are final sale. No refunds or exchanges.
When purchasing one of our consignment items, we require 1/2 down.
Some items do not sell right away, so the clock may also need service or repairs. Those services are included unless otherwise stated on the sales tag, and completion may take several months or more.

Selling Your Timepiece
Have a clock you want to sell? We do purchase clocks periodically depending on the item.
You may bring the clock by the shop at your convenience or email us through the Contact page. We will let you know if we are interested.
Please note that this service is limited. Since COVID began, we have received over 100 donated clocks and have very limited space.
We do not purchase quartz or battery-powered clocks, 31-day mechanical clocks (wall or mantel), electric clocks, watches, or pocket watches.
Watch Bands
We carry leather, silicone, and nylon watch bands only.
Some sizes and colors may need to be special ordered.
Due to individual use and wear, watch bands are warrantied for 1 month.
To qualify for return consideration, the band must be in mint, resalable condition with all original packaging and receipt.
A store credit or exchange will be issued for bands that are not saleable or are returned without a receipt.
